I’m always on the hunt for new quick dinner recipes, and I found this great one over at The Daily Dish. The Four Pasta Beef Bake is amazingly easy to prepare and it’s so good that you won’t be upset about taking the leftovers to work for lunch the next day. To get started you’ll need:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce without meat
- 4 cups uncooked pasta (I used elbow macaroni)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Begin by cooking the pasta according to the instructions on its packaging. While that’s cooking, prepare the remaining ingredients.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef along with the onions and the peppers. Drain off the fat and return the skillet to the stove while reducing the heat to low. Now add in the cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Stir this mixture until the cheese is melted.
By now the pasta should be cooked. Drain the pasta and then add it into a large mixing bowl. Next, pour in the beef mixture, along with the spaghetti sauce and the egg. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9″ x 13″ pan and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350°.
Enjoy!

I love pasta! One of my favorites is baked mac. I guess this sounds like the recipe for baked mac but with a twist.
Thanks for sharing this. I will add this recipe on my list and cook this for special occasions.
